The SC4LD teaches tools that result in effective learning, with strategies that students use throughout their lives. SC4LD students develop confidence, self-esteem and the will to learn - qualities that are fundamental to academic success.

At the SC4LD, students acquire lasting skills with strategies that make reading, mathematics, spelling, writing and other essential subjects make sense. SC4LD students learn how they need to be taught and to advocate for their learning needs. Each student learns what he or she needs to know now, acquiring skills they can translate to future needs.
