Everyone learns in a unique way according to his or her innate perceptual strengths and needs; by understanding and working with these strengths and needs, we gain a powerful learning tool.

The SC4LD assesses students to identify their learning style profile and find out how they are performing relative to their school grade level. The SC4LD designs individual learning plans (ILPs) to meet each student's needs with this information. ILPs build on our students' strengths to achieve desired academic goals.

The SC4LD also assesses students to help determine appropriate assistive technology and learning strategies in order to assist them enhance their success in school and life as well as to access funding for these needs. While assistive technology is available for anyone to purchase, there is financial support available [Intensive Support Amount (ISA) Level 1] for students who meet specific criteria so that student can use specific hardware and/or software exclusively.

If assessments beyond the scope of academic achievement, learning style, assistive technology, and learning strategies are required, the SC4LD offers parents a referral service.
